We are the oceans by Joss Stone
Beautiful singer/songwriter Joss Stone is touring the world and spreading the word – our oceans are extremely sick and they need emergency care STAT!
The 30-something songbird is letting her music do the talking with last summer’s release of the single, “We Are The Oceans,” which she produced in collaboration with We Are the Oceans, or WATO.
“The song is about making a change and if enough people change their habits it WILL make a difference,” Stone said.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, this heart-tugging tune is worth millions. We love that it mirrors our COAST IS CLEAR mission to remove ocean plastic and clean up our coastlines so man and animals can continue to find solace there.
Check out this sampling of lyrics from Oceans:
Can’t you hear the ocean crying
Calling out to be revived
Take a step back
We all need to make a plan
Reverse effects of common man
Take a moment
Open your eyes
We have the power to make a way/wave
If we move together as one
There’s no time to waste
Actions are louder
And I see the future
It’s ours to take
You can help make a change today!
We’re donating 5% of sales from our COAST IS CLEAR collection to Plastic Pollution Coalition. This coalition is a powerful global alliance of individuals, organizations, businesses and policymakers all working toward a world free of ocean plastic & plastic pollution and its toxic impact on people, animals, waterways, oceans and the environment.
